Innovation & Creative Leadership Development Programs
Pracademy offers life-changing, 21st-century corporate training programs that help our clients transform their employees into radically disruptive and empathic leaders. Our programs consist of world-class and empirically tested learning experiences that help shift individual mindsets and change organizational cultures. We co-design these programs with our clients by taking a collaborative and long-view perspective.
Pracademy currently runs two such programs: the Leadership Potentials Development Program at Wilhelmsen, a global leader in the maritime industry, and DT Bergen, Norway’s first Executive Education Program in Design Thinking.
Design Thinking: Strategic Design for Innovation
The Executive Education program, DT Bergen, was developed in collaboration with DesignArena, Design Region Bergen, Norwegian School of Economics, University of Bergen, and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. It is a 7-month, part-time multidisciplinary program and the first of its kind in Norway. It is developed for business managers, designers, engineers, and technologists—as well as for other aspiring leaders, professionals, and public servants in various fields—interested in developing their competence in human-centered, design-driven innovation.
The first iteration took place in 2015/16, and received top reviews and very positive feedback from student, and the relevant corporate and university partners. The second iteration in 2016/2017 received even better reviews. We are now delivering the 2017/18 program. Some of the corporate partners include PwC, Sparebank Vest, Tryg, and the Bergen Kommune.
Having graduated from the program, students are prepared to serve as leading change agents within their respective companies and organizations. In turn, the graduates' organizations will have gained a valuable asset: trailblazing, creatively confident employees who are willing to push for progressive, transformational design-driven change.
